Phunaka Condominiums swinging into action

Green Mountain Co. will soon launch the Phunaka Condominium project, a 160-unit development on Phunaka Golf Course in the Kathu area of Phuket.

The Phunaka Condominiums will feature a gymnasium, pro-shop, minimart, sports bar, and, most importantly, the golf course, which is floodlit until 10pm daily for late night rounds. In purchasing a condominium owners will automatically get a 30-year membership to the course.

The developers are also promoting the fact that a road over the mountains connecting Kathu with the nightlife and shopping area of Patong is currently under construction.

Freehold condos start at THB4.2 million (US$130,091), which the developers says is competitively priced in order to receive a commitment to purchase on 30% of the project before building begins. Construction is expected to take 18 months. The condos have not officially been put on the market yet, but four have been sold.
