Nestled on a cliff side overlooking Nai Harn Beach on Phuket Island, the former Le Royal Meridien Phuket Yacht Club hotel was bought a few years ago and is now operated as The Royal Puravarna Phuket Yacht Club Hotel by Puravarna Group Resorts Ltd.
A long established hotel on Phuket, it has been a strong performer in the 5-star segment for many years.
The current hotel market is difficult globally, and Phuket is not immune. In response to these challenges Phuket´s resorts and hotels are looking to new markets, new revenue streams and are revising business plans accordingly.
The Puravarna Group recently announced that The Puravarna Residences at The Royal Puravarna Phuket Yacht Club are offering fractional ownership of units, prices depending on the size of the fractional share (corresponding to a time period).
Fractional ownership is a popular development business model in some parts of the world, yet still relatively new to Asia. In Thailand the Absolute Group have lead the way with offerings in Phuket, Samui and Pattaya, with a number of other developers around Thailand following suit.
The Royal Puravarna Yacht Club are also offering full ownership options of Puravarna Residences – freehold or leasehold.
